All our schemes are a unique combination of our services, designed to be a cost effective option for schools that want elite level coaching from a team GB athlete.

After School athletics provision involves our team GB athletes visiting the school and providing track & field athletics coaching in a specific event, after school.

Students can book per term. This will include 11-15 weeks worth of elite level athletics provision. 1 – 2 sessions per week. Per term we would aim to cover 15 different athletics disciplines.

Our timetables are flexible as schools are given the option to select the after school time slot that suits them best.

Schools are able to shorten PE lessons to a minimum of 30 minutes if required, however we recommend 1 hour lessons as it allows us to implement more detailed lesson plans.

The standard price of After School provision is:

75 – 100 AED per child per session

When a date is confirmed with the school, we start the recruitment process for athletes. We contact all athletes and ask for their availability on the specific date.

We then shortlist athletes based on the criteria set by the school, and provide schools with a list of athletes and their achievements. From this, the school can then decide which athlete they would to visit. Athletes In School will also make a recommendation based on athlete feedback from other schools they have visited.

Yes. Athletes In Schools can provide your school with a full risk assessment upon request.
As part of our service we provide full disclosure on all the athlete coaches and support staff. This includes police clearance and access to their coaching qualifications.

PE lessons vary depending on the athlete’s individual sport. Athletes In School can provide primary & secondary schools with lesson plans that highlight exactly what activities will be covered in the PE lessons.

Schools are also able to ask for certain activities based on their preferences. Activities covered may include:

Olympic style warm ups
Speed, agility & reaction drills
Blocks & sprint starts
Sprint relays and baton changes
The endurance challenge
Hurdle technique work & practice
Shot, discuss, javelin technique work & practice
High jump technique work & practice
Learning the Fosbury flop
